Scotiabank Rolls Out New Wealth Brand

Canada's has rolled out a new wealth management brand and delivery strategy, in response to rising client demands for more comprehensive advice. Scotia Wealth Management will provide financial planning, investment management, private banking, insurance, business transition planning, estate and trust services, and more, the firm said. “We are breaking down traditional silos and taking a team-based approach to deliver an integrated wealth management offering to our clients,” said James O'Sullivan, group head of Canadian banking at Scotiabank. Extensive global research was conducted over the past two years through conversations with clients, investors and relationship managers in key markets to develop the new Scotia Wealth Management brand, the firm said. In Canada, Scotia Wealth Management represents several of Scotiabank's wealth management businesses. HollisWealth and Scotia iTRADE will continue to operate under their own independent brands. Scotiabank has a presence in North America, Latin America, the Caribbean and Central America, as well as parts of Asia.
